1. Attend Committee Training Conference at the Students’ Union

2. Ensuring your club has a stall at Welcome Week and Welcome Back Week

3. Working with your coach to organising trials (if required)

4. Ensure you submit a team list to the the Students’ Union prior to every BUCS match - ensuring only students eligible to compete are listed and scores are submitted on time

5. Fully familiarise yourself with the BUCS rules and regulations for your specific sport and be aware of the sanctions/infraction.

6. Ensure you attend all committee meetings and relay all information to your members and coaches

7. Delegating tasks – you shouldn’t do everything yourself! 

8. Understanding the broader picture – keep the vision and aims of the in mind at all times 

9. Understanding your responsibilities and ‘duty of care’ for the group's activities

10. Working with the committee to create a club development plan 

11.Being a spokesperson or figurehead – representing your group to students, the Students’ Union, the University and even the media

12. Maintaining committee enthusiasm

5. Fully familiarise yourself with the BUCS rules and regulations for your specific sport and be aware of the sanctions/infraction.

6. Ensure you attend all committee meetings and relay all information to your members and coaches

7. Delegating tasks – you shouldn’t do everything yourself! 

8. Understanding the broader picture – keep the vision and aims of the in mind at all times 

9. Understanding your responsibilities and ‘duty of care’ for the group's activities

10. Working with the committee to create a club development plan 

11.Being a spokesperson or figurehead – representing your group to students, the Students’ Union, the University and even the media

6. Ensure you attend all committee meetings and relay all information to your members and coaches

7. Delegating tasks – you shouldn’t do everything yourself!

5. Fully familiarise yourself with the BUCS rules and regulations for your specific sport and be aware of the sanctions/infraction.

6. Ensure you attend all committee meetings and relay all information to your members and coaches

7. Delegating tasks – you shouldn’t do everything yourself! 

8. Understanding the broader picture – keep the vision and aims of the in mind at all times
