New School Economics Society

A student initiative, allied with Rethinking Economics aiming to bring the basic tools of economic analysis into the hands of all of us who participate in a society shaped by economic forces.

The purpose for this society is to make economics as a study more accessible and understandable to students who have an interest in finding out how real world economics affects their daily lives. We are a student initiative, allied with the Political Economy Research Centre and Rethinking Economics. Collaboratively, we are campaigning for substantial reform to the economics curriculum in higher education. By doing this we hope to demystify economics as a technical science, building open and collaborative communities of economic thinkers.
