SU Elections workshop - banners
Mon 02 March 2020 15:00-16:00 - RHB 355
Want to get creative in your campaign? This is a space to get painting your banner and get digital to create your posters. Once voting starts you can hang your banners around campus and on the gates in front of RHB for everyone to see. Also, the SU will print 100 pages of A4 (or equivalent in alternative sizes) for free for every candidate's campaign. Your poster will also be published alongside all other candidates in our elections brochure.
During this session we will cover:
Painting campaigns banners (materials provided)
Digital poster making training with SU Design Coordinator
Please email democracy@goldsmithssu.org before the day of the workshop if you do not have a laptop and would like us to bring a spare one along for you.
This event will take place straight after the ‘Election Campaign 101’ training and in the same room. There are four sessions you can come to spread over training week: Monday 2nd March 3pm- 4pm RHB 355, Wednesday 4th March 2pm- 3pm TBC, Friday 6th March 1pm- 2pm RHB 138, Monday 9th March 3pm- 4pm RHB 355. These training sessions are not mandatory but we would highly suggest attending one session so that all candidates have the same level of materials during the voting period. You only need to come to one of these sessions as each different date will be the same content
The deadline for digital poster submission is Wednesday 4th March 5pm. If you attend a workshop after this time it will be to concentrate on banner making/painting.
