Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil

Transgender Day of Remembrance is commemorated every year worldwide on the 20th November. It is an opportunity to pause and reflect in memory of those in the transgender community who have died, been murdered or have taken their own life as a result of transphobia. 

The LGBTQ+ Community, our and Bury Your Gays are hosting an event and potluch in the SU Venue: Trans Day of Remembrance and Resilience.

5 - 7pm: Chill out space for trans and non-binary people 

7pm: Vigil to celebrate and commemorate our lost transgender siblings

7 - 9pm: Open mic for trans and non-binary artists

 

Accessibility information: The SU Venue has step-free access via a lift. It is on the top floor of the Students' Union building, There are gender neutral toilets nearby.
