Best of Bass Presents: EMBRZ

Goldsmith’s Students’ Union
Wednesday 13th February
Doors 10.00pm

Dublin born DJ and Producer, Jack Casey aka EMBRZ performs his first London show of 2019 at the legendary Goldsmith’s Students’ Union - a venue celebrated for showcasing emerging artists (James Blake, Moko, Goldierocks, Chris Corner, Katy B, Rob Da Bank) at the beginning of their journey.

EMBRZ defines himself as a pioneer of emotional dance music. Lush melodies, epic moments, a playful tone, and sometimes nostalgic vocals.  The self-taught multi-instrumentalist weaves a plethora of influences, to provide rounded and organic sounding music that EQ Music Blog describes as “electronic ear candy”.

Within only a few years, EMBRZ has clocked an impressive tally of achievements including several #1s on HYPEM, over 20 million streams on Spotify alone and much support from radio stations such as Sirius XM, RTE (Ireland) and BBC Radio 1. In the same amount of time he’s managed to play some of Ireland’s biggest festivals including Longitude, BodynSoul and Electric Picnic, SXSW, IMS (Ibiza) as well as live shows in Berlin, Brussels and Malta and supported both Shallou and SG Lewis on tour.

2018 Jack continued his upward trajectory with a string of beautiful new releases including ‘Close 2 U’ feat Harvie, ‘Like It Or Not’ feat joan, and ‘She Won’t Let Me Down’ feat Leo Stannard) via Ultra Music chalking up over 2 million streams on Spotify and garnering support from tastemaker media like Clash, Hilly Dilly, Kick Kick Snare, Nialler 9, Chill Nation.
