I am Sneha Gupta pursuing BSc (Hons) Management with marketing. I am an enthusiastic photographer and dancer.

I was awarded the best photographer in my high school for 2 consecutive years. I was also the President of the mental health society

 [Active Minds] in my school for 2 years and was a member and still get workshops and flash mobs conducted online for my society.

I believe that mental health issues in India were a very suppressed thing. Steadily the awareness was raised and schools, universities contributed highly in that. Active Minds will always be a society which will always be close to my heart. It made me really happy helping my peers and other students out. I have learnt lawn tennis and basketball for 3-4 years and loved playing it. I was also the Valedictorian for my batch of 2023. Dynamism is what defines me. I have chalked out a journey for myself with my devotion and dedication.  

I have always been really dedicated towards all the roles I have got as a leader, a team player, a dancer, a photographer and even a speaker. I have always been motivated to take the role of a leader and lead my team forward with them. I come from New Delhi, India. I am an undergraduate, I can always relate to the common myths going around a person who just graduated high school. I have seen many people thinking of leaving our whole life behind and starting it from fresh sounds refreshing but is as difficult, which no one realizes till they are here. I felt really lonely and alone even being an extrovert. It has been very difficult for me to make friends and talk to new people. I still face these issues but slowly but steadily I am rising from it and getting comfortable with this change.  I wouldn’t want others to face this all alone, I want to make them feel like a second home here at goldsmiths.

I really want students to vote for me because I believe I’ll be able to make them feel at home and just be there for them.

I love helping others and i think this quality plays a very important role in what kind of a person i am today. Being the International student leader would be a great opportunity. I really hope you all see a friend/peer in me and vote for me.
