Research shows that students are happier and perform better academically when they feel part of a community. At Goldsmiths this usually means feeling part of the department you study in.
With this in mind, we launched the Academic Communities Fund in 2017, which provides money and staff time to help you to develop a community within your department. In the 2017/18 academic year we funded over 150 events, attended by over 8,000 students.
We want to continue to build up a calendar of events throughout the academic year that will help you to meet students in your department - to socialise, experience London, and expand on what is already offered in your curriculum.
For this to happen, we need your ideas!

Please note the deadline for applications is Friday the 22nd of March 2019. After this applications will not be accepted until the start of term 3.
