Ukraine: What you can do to help

Goldsmiths students stand with the people of Ukraine

The Russian regime has invaded Ukraine, sparking a humanitarian crisis.

Within weeks, up to four million Ukrainians could become refugees.

Across the world, communities are kicking into action and doing what they can do to provide aid, supplies and sanctuary for Ukrainians caught up in violence.

Goldsmiths students stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. 

The Goldsmiths student and staff community has arranged the following ways to support Ukraine:

Donate items 

If you would like to donate supplies, please bring the following to the Richard Hoggatt Building on campus.

Donations will be accepted until at least Friday 11 March.

Please DO bring:

  • First aid kits
  • Over-the-counter medication
  • Sanitary and hygiene products
  • Baby supplies: milk powder, nappies, and baby wipes
  • Camping supplies: blankets, bedding, sleeping bags, mats
  • Hand and feet warmers
  • Thermoses and flasks
  • Flashlights
  • Batteries and power packs
  • Boxes, tape and packing materials

Please do NOT bring clothes or food.

All donations will be transported to distribution centres in Poland. 

Organisations seeking volunteers in London:

Volunteers can show up and start helping. There will be people on site to accept and manage incoming volunteers.
