Missed Candidate Question Time last night?

Last night’s Candidate Question Time went swimmingly! We were thrilled with our group of this year’s candidates who gave it their all, and with the turnout of students who came to participate in SU democracy.

If you wanted to watch Question Time, but sadly couldn’t make it, no probs! We filmed all of the candidates, so you can watch in your own time, listen to what they had to say and decide who represents you best. You can check out the recording below: 

 

President

The President helps to lead the Students’ Union, is the Chair of Goldsmiths Students’ Union Trustee Board, and works each day to ensure the SU is student-focused and representing the needs and wishes of students at Goldsmiths.

Welfare and Liberation Officer

The Welfare and Liberation Officer is the lead officer for the development of liberation groups on campus and advocating for student mental health and wellbeing initiatives.

Education Officer

The Education Officer is the lead officer for representing the educational experience of all Goldsmiths students. This role represents students on the College’s Academic Board and works with the Department Representatives.

Campaigns and Activities Officer

The Campaigns and Activities Officer is the lead officer for the development of student activities, societies and sports clubs. This role also directs the Union’s campaigns internally, locally and nationally.
