The nomination period for the elections is now open!
Clubs, Societies, Communities and Media groups are run by students for students. You don't need any experience, just enthusiasm to organise events, lead meetings and build a community.
The three main positions that a group needs to be a Goldsmiths Students' Union group are President, Treasurer and Secretary. You can read more about these roles here
This year we are also introducing option liberation reps for groups. The liberation reps will:
- Be elected voices in our Liberation Community Committee - for example, the "BME Rep for the Happy Calm Knitting Society"
- Help to organise activities in Liberation History Months specific to your group, for example, "LGBTQ+ Rep for Tabletop Gaming Society organises an LGBTQ+ Games night for LGBTQ+ History Month"
- Be consulted first when it comes to change and campaigning
- Automatically signed up to our Liberation Newsletter where we update you on activity that's happening in the SU and on campus
Does this sound good to you?
