Applications for the SU’s Talented Athlete Programme (TAP) are now open from prospective and current Goldsmiths students. The TAP is designed to give students the opportunity to develop their sporting performance alongside their academic studies.
Notable recipients include Goldsmiths student Reuben Arthur who went on to win a gold medal in the men's 4x100m relay at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The Programme is aimed at students who already compete at a high level and have the desire and dedication to improve towards senior or International level (or equivalent) in their sport. The aim is to provide Goldsmiths students with financial support, reasonable academic flexibility and boost the profile of sport at Goldsmith. Applicants must be seeking to study for a minimum of one year as an undergraduate or postgraduate level student. You can read more about the Programme here.
What will you receive?
A grant of up to £1000 (tailor made to suit the successful applicant - which will include competition entries, travel costs, equipment hire)
Reasonable academic flexibility
Free gym membership at Club Pulse Fitness
Free Talented Athlete Goldsmiths Kit

All students need to have gained an offer from Goldsmiths (unconditional or conditional) in order to be considered for the Talented Athlete Programme. Applications without an accompanying letter of recommendation from your coach/NGB will not be considered.
