Who can I contact if I have a question about my order?

For all SU Shop related inquiries, please email sushop@goldsmithssu.org and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

I’m not currently a resident in the UK. Can I still order from the SU Online Shop?

Yes, but please be aware that when buying from overseas, the customer is liable to pay any additional duties or local taxes potentially incurred in the importation process. Please be aware that the postage price will be quoted at checkout. The prices are determined by DHL and are subject to change.

I've seen Goldsmiths merchandise online through other sellers, should I just buy from there?

There are many counterfeit products out there but we are the only supplier of the genuine article.
 
We hold a licence to use the Official Goldsmiths Crest on our products. Some other web based suppliers purporting to sell the genuine article have in fact made up their own crest/logos, which are not the Official Goldsmiths Branding. Don't get caught out - this is a memento of your time at Goldsmiths and it would be a shame to go home with a fake.
 
We can't vouch for the quality or veracity of any other products being sold from any other website. What we can do is guarantee that our products are ethically sourced, sustainable and that every penny of profit made goes back into SU services so as to directly support our Students.

Can I return my purchase or ask for a refund?

You can make a refund or exchange of any purchase from our online shop within 28 days of purchase.
 
The SU Shop reserves the right to refuse any refunds or exchanges for items that are not returned within a resalable condition. The items must be unworn and unwashed with all labels still on them. Proof of purchase must be present at the time of the refund or exchange (transaction email receipt). We do not pay postage and packaging for any items that are returned or exchanged.

What types of payment cards can I use on your website?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro.

Is it safe for me to pay by card on your website?

Our Payment Service Provider is Opayo (formerly Protx) – the largest independent payment service provider (PSP) in the UK and Ireland.
 
Opayo provides a secure payment gateway (Level 1 PCI DSS), processing payments for thousands of online businesses, including ours. It is Opayo’s utmost priority to ensure that transaction data is handled in a safe and secure way. Opayo uses range secure methods such as fraud screening, I.P address blocking and 3D secure. Once on the Opayo systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards. Opayo is PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant to the highest level and maintains regular security audits.
 
They are also regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure that their systems are impenetrable. Opayo is an active member of the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.
 
In addition, you know that your session is in a secure encrypted environment when you see https:// in the web address, and/or when you see the locked padlock symbol alongside the URL.
 
So when buying through our site, you can be sure that you are completely protected.

I’ve placed my order but have been told it's not in stock. What now?

Products are all sold subject to availability.
 
We do our utmost to ensure that the products for sale on our online shop are available at the point of purchase. This is however not always possible due to external factors such as Brexit and Covid 19 which can affect the production and delivery of goods.
 
In the event that you place an order for an item which is temporarily out of stock, we’ll get in touch with you to let you know.
 
You will have the choice of a refund, waiting for the item to be shipped once it's back in stock or choosing another product of the same value.
 
We take great care to ensure that the descriptions and images of the products you see on our website are accurate - we do not accept liability for any errors, inaccuracies or missing information.
 
We accept orders at our own discretion and hold the right to refuse an order with no explanation.

I am a student and I would like to ask whether my product can be listed on the SU Shop Website.

We are interested in supporting our innovative and creative Students at Goldsmiths. Whilst we can't guarantee that we will host your product - we will certainly consider it.
