Winter Closure and Support Services

As we wrap up the final week of term and many of us head home for the Holidays, here are the changes to our SU Spaces opening and closing times. 

SU Shop, Bar & Cafe

• SU Bar Closure: 15 December to 11 January
• SU Cafe Reduced Hours (10am to 3pm): 15 December to 22 December and 5 January to 9 January
• SU Cafe Closure: 23 January to 3 January
• SU Shop Closure: 15 December to 4 January
• SU Shop Reduced Hours (10am to 5pm): 5 January to 9 January
   

SU Office

Our office will be closed during the winter break, from 12.30pm on 19 December and reopen on 5 January at 9am.

Support on and off campus

In the event of an emergency, call 999, head to the nearest A&E, or call your local urgent mental health helpline. Find your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) at this link. The nearest A&E to campus is University Hospital Lewisham at Lewisham High Street, London SE13 6LH.

Support During Winter Closure

• If you would prefer to access support outside Goldsmiths, The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call 116 123 or visit: samaritans.org

• CALM runs a helpline and a webchat from 5 pm–midnight, 365 days a year: thecalmzone.net.

• Rape Crisis runs a 24/7 support line for rape and sexual abuse: 247sexualabusesupport.org.uk

• The Outside Project is an LGBTQ+ Shelter and Community Space. They offer housing and community to LGBTQ+ individuals during the Holiday period. They can be reached on their website: https://lgbtiqoutside.org/
