Join the Goldsmiths Step Up student facilitators to explore how the pandemic has impacted our lives and wellbeing
Coping with the Pandemic is a student-led mental health workshop at Goldsmiths University. These workshops have been created in order to help build a sense of positive mental health community at the University. In previous years these workshops have been delivered in person, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have switched to online. The workshops are delivered on Zoom, but we ask that if possible students have their cameras and microphones on for the session. The session includes lots of discussion, CBT techniques and isn't anything like a lecture!
During the workshop, students are given the space to explore and process this past year and how the pandemic has affected different aspects of our lives and wellbeing. Students will spend time focussing on new strategies to help us to stay in the present moment, and finally explore through discussion, the anxieties and uncertainties about the future and what life will look like.
This workshop is 2 hours long and is completely free for you to attend.
