Disabled Students' Leadership Workshop

Fri 01 February 2019 12:00-14:00 - Liberation Room (downstairs in the SU)

During February, Goldsmiths Students' Union is running a series of liberation leadership workshops for students from liberation groups.

Our Disabled Students’ Leadership Workshop will be run by NUS Disabled Students’ Officer, Rachel O’Brien. It is designed to enable disabled students to develop their confidence, become effective leaders, and build skills in campaigning and organising. We will touch on topics such as why disabled students' voices are important and how you can become an authentic leader through your identity as a person with a disability.

Open to all self-identifying disabled students.

We are also running leadership workshops for BME students, LGBTQ+ students, and women.

Accessibility: The Liberation Room is downstairs in the SU and accessible via a ramp. If you require the ramp, please let the Welcome Desk know. There is lots of comfortable seating available. There are gender neutral toilets on the second floor, which is accessible via a lift. Find more accessibility information about the SU Building on AccessAble.
