Tue 05 February 2019 12:00-14:00 - Margaret McMillan Building 111
**This event has been postponed due to illness. We apologise for any inconvenience. The workshop will now take place on Friday 15th February, 12pm-2pm in MMB 110. See event page here.**
During February, Goldsmiths Students' Union is running a series of liberation leadership workshops for students from liberation groups.
Our BME Students’ Leadership Workshop will be run by NUS Black Students’ Officer, Ilyas Nagdee. It is designed to enable BME students to develop their confidence, become effective leaders, and build skills in campaigning and organising. We will touch on topics such as why BME students' voices are important and how you can become an authentic leader through your identity as a person of colour.
Open to all self-identifying BME students.
We are also running leadership workshops for disabled students, LGBTQ+ students, and women.
