About Us
Welcome to the Visual Cultures Society at Goldsmiths!
Visual Cultures Society is a student-led community for anyone interested in art and visual culture! Whether you study Fine Art, History of Art, Design, Media, or simply have an interest in contemporary arts & culture, everyone is welcome.
Throughout the year, we aim to create activities that will include group gallery and museum visits, artist and curator talks, discussions, screenings, social events, exhibitions, and other creative projects.
Our events are a chance to explore different perspectives, discover new artists and practices, and have conversations about the things that interest us, from contemporary art and exhibitions to fashion, photography, film, popular culture, and everything in between.
Membership is just £5 for the year, giving you free access to all of our society events and activities throughout the academic year.
Join us to meet new people, discover new work, get involved in creative projects and, most importantly, see some art!
