Smiths Magazine is the official publication of Goldsmiths, and aims to provide a platform for student journalism, design and photography.
Founded over 100 years ago, Smiths is run entirely by current Goldsmiths students, and offers an outlet, online or in the form of a free publication, to any new or returning student wanting to document their experiences during their time here.
The objective of Smiths is to operate as a fully functioning, professional magazine, which showcases insightful journalism and opinion pieces alongside creative design and photography. Absolutely anyone is allowed to submit work in any medium, regardless of year of study, programme or department.
Smiths is printed once per term, and is available at the Student Union and selection of bookshops around New Cross, Deptford and Peckham (this sometimes changes from issue to issue, so follow us on instagram to stay up to date!).
