About Us
Goldsmiths Hockey Club is a mixed team with a wide range of abilities; anyone is welcome to join even if you have never played before! We pride ourselves in being a close-knit community, prioritise having fun during fitness.
We are aiming to compete in the LUSL league this season. If you are joining the university or a current student looking to join the hockey club and considering playing hockey at the club regardless of age or ability, get in touch with us!

Everyone is welcome to play matches, regardless of skill level if they have a competitive membership (which covers all year) and the correct kit – we will give you shirt/socks/sticks but please provide your own shin pads and gum guard!
All league home fixtures will be at Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. We travel togetherfrom university on the Windrush Line and change onto the
Jubilee Line. We tend to visit the pub with our opponent afterwards!
Socials Events
We have socials at the SU bar after every training, as we like to focus our society on being a social club! Our social secs, Kira and Calki are very enthusiastic on planning events too; last year we did a internal team Halloween costumer pub crawl, cheese night, Superbowl night, Hockey Oscars Awards etc. If you only fancy training and socialising, there is the social membership option!
Taster Sessions / Waiver
During Give It a Go week you will be able to attend our sessions at no cost! If you have not purchased a memebership product before your taster or trial, you MUST complete a waiver form > HERE!
Sport Access Grant
Students who are experiencing financial difficulty are welcome to apply for the Sports Access Grant. There is no deadline, but aplications will be prioritised for those wanting to compete for the club. To apply please click > HERE
