The Drama Society will give all Goldsmiths students the opportunity to take place in Drama workshops, performances, and meetings etc. in a relaxed and informal environment.
Open to all and not just drama students, the Drama Society at Goldsmiths is the perfect place for people to exercise their creative talents. Every year we invite our members to get involved with our 4-5 planned shows during the year: a Drunk Shakespeare, 2-3 original productions and an established play to end the year on. We also welcome those who prefer to be behind the scenes and encourage anyone to get involved in anyway they think will help us be a brilliant and inclusive society.
Main Event of the Year include:
Fortnightly workshops where we explore various methods of acting/writing/directing and all things to do with being involved in a theatre and other performance.
Play Proposal: Got an idea for a show? Send in a project proposal form and begin work on your projects and ideas, possibly even recieve funding for your show.
Theatre trips: Experience and be inspired by the many different types of performance that London has to offer.
Within our society we want to build a community of wonderful creative people by working together and supporting new ideas. Membership: £3
