About Us
About Us!
Welcome to Goldsmiths Arts and Crafts Society! We host workshops and project evenings to give students a friendly space to create and be social.
Our society is a community for all students (not just those doing creative degree) interested in making art in a fun, social, and low-pressure environment. There is no barrier to entry - we welcome beginners, professionals, and everyone in between! We aim to grow a friendly community, and give students a fun, calm, and supportive space to create away from their main studies, where everyone has a common interest and activity to share.
The majority of our sessions are free with provided materials, but members are welcome to bring their own too! Ticketed events, or events where materials are not provided, will be clearly marked and tickets can be bought via Eventbrite, with the link available on this page as well as our social media.
We communicate updates through our Facebook and Instagram (@goldartsandcrafts), as well as our WhatsApp group chat and our Discord server! All our links, including upcoming workshop tickets, can be found here!
Our Regular Sessions
We meet every Thursday from 12-2pm for a project circle - members bring along their own personal project of any medium and work on it in a supportive, low-pressure social setting with drinks and snacks! Locations may change weekly and will be posted on our Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp group!

We host regular guided workshops, and have many planned for this academic year, including:
