The Goldsmiths University of London's Desi Society is a thriving student group devoted to honouring and advancing South Asian ancestry and culture. Students of South Asian heritage, as well as others with an interest in the vast diversity of Desi cultures—including those from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Throughout the academic year, the society hosts a range of activities, such as movie nights, cultural festivals, and meet ups for the Desi community.
The Goldsmiths Desi Society is a place where students have fun celebrating their culture, discover a home away from home, and create lasting relationships that go beyond their time in university.
