Goldsmiths SU Iftar

Goldsmiths SU Iftar

Wed 22 May 2019 19:30-22:00 - SU Cafe

WHAT IS IFTAR?
During the month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world will fast from dawn until sunset. As dusk falls, your Goldsmiths community will gather together for Iftar, the evening meal when the fast is broken with a special feast.

In honour of this tradition, on Wednesday 22nd May, we’re inviting you to join us for Iftar in the SU Cafe.

It’ll be a brilliant evening in which all guests (whether fasting or not) will gather to break fast together, share stories and celebrate their differences.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Whilst we’ll be celebrating in a traditional way, we’re welcoming people of all ages, religions and backgrounds to come and break fast with us.

In the meantime, we wish Ramadan Mubarak to you all.

If you can't stay for the whole event, feel free to bring your own containers to take away some food with you!
