Institutional change around sexual harassment and violence has been a continual process.
Consent and Relationships Education - The CARE Project - is just one chapter in a longer history of radical action by students and staff at Goldsmiths who have shifted campus culture since 2014.
What do we do at CARE?
CARE is a student-led initiative dedicated to tackling sexual violence and abuse through education, activism, and community support. We empower students to lead change by raising awareness, advocating for safer policies, and fostering trauma-informed spaces where students can find solidarity, solutions, and disclose any experiences free from judgement. Through collaboration with student groups, local communities, and organisations, we create impactful action that equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to challenge harm and build a culture of accountability and care.
Our Vision
We envision a future where every community is a safe, inclusive, and empowered space, free from sexual violence and abuse. Through collective action, education, and systemic change, we strive to create a world where institutions are held accountable for fostering a culture of respect, equity, and safety for all.
