External Trustee (Volunteer Role)
Closing date for applications: 31st May 2025
Location: New Cross, London
Salary: Voluntary, Unpaid
Interviews: June 9th - 10th 2025
As a trustee, you will work closely with the Student Union Officers, staff team and students, to deliver on our strategic aims, ensuring that we are making continuing progress to be recognised for the innovation and quality of the services and support that we provide.
We are seeking at least one trustee with experience in the charity or education sector. The Trustee Board meets formally six times annually, with meetings generally held midweek in the early evening and lasting a few hours.

Student roles
We're regularly looking for students to staff our shop, bar and cafe. We regularly hire students for less conventional tasks too - such as photographers, workshop facilitators and social media content creators.
Undergrad School Representative (2025/2026)
The deadline for application is Friday 23 May, 5pm. If we receive a sufficient number of applications for your department, we may close the job ad earlier.
Salary: Approx. £789 (paid in 3 tax-deductible instalments)
Contract: 60 hours per academic year (approx. 2 - 4 hours per week)
As the School Representative (SR) your role is to be the voice of students within your department by collecting and conveying feedback on their educational experience. You will advocate for improvements and maintain high standards. You will have access to platforms and meetings and will be supported throughout by the Students’ Union enabling you to make positive changes and enhance students' educational experience.

Faculty Representative (2025/2026)

Contract: 120 hours per academic year (approx. 4 - 6 hours per week)
As a Faculty Representativeyou will be the key liaison between students, academics, faculty and the university. You will aim to ensure students' voices are heard, represented and acted upon, driving positive change across the faculty. You will be at the forefront of student-led change within the academic system influencing positive change that will improve the student experience for both current and future students.
