Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our newly appointed Academic Representatives, The Psychology Society is thrilled to announce our new Independent Study Sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students!

What are independent study sessions?

Our Independent Study Sessions are dedicated times for you to focus, learn, and grow in a supportive group environment. Whether you need a quiet space to review your class notes, work on assignments, or engage in group discussions, the Psychology Society's Common Room is the perfect place for us to work towards grabbing that desired 1st. These sessions focus on independent learning, but we will have a revision session during these times every fourth week.

When and where?

Foundation and 1st Years: Every Monday from 15:30 to 17:00.
2nd Years and Master's Conversion: Every Wednesday from 15:00 to 16:30.
3rd Years and Master's: Every Friday from 13:30 to 15:00.

Meet our academic representatives

Our Academic Representatives are passionate about psychology and are here to support your academic journey. They are the driving force behind these Independent Study Sessions and are currently planning an upcoming revision session for each cohort to support your study goals! Please note that they are student representatives who will not have the answers to all your questions - treat them kindly! However, feel free to reach out to them for guidance or to share your suggestions for improving the sessions if you would like.

No registration required - simply show up to the Psychology Common Room during your designated session time and get started!
