Black History Month Open Meeting

Black History Month Open Meeting

Fri 18 September 2020 11:00-12:00 - Zoom

Our Black History Month programme is planned as part of both national and international celebrations and events to honour the too-often unheralded accomplishments of Black people in every area of endeavour throughout our history.

We believe in making transparency and accountability central to everything we do, and we think students should be our co-creators, not consumers (down with the marketisation of education!). As part of those values we are inviting students to an informal open meeting to discuss our plans for Black History Month and get involved in the planning process as co-creators.

This event will be hosted virtually via Zoom, a secure online platform. Attendees will have access to closed captioning and screen reader support through the app, as well as full minutes of the meeting made available through the website after the event – if you have any questions about accessibility or additional requirements please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at welcome@goldsmithssu.org.
