16 Days Against Sexual Violence

Running from International Day Against Violence Against Women (25th November) and International Human Rights Day (10th December), 16 Days is an annual international campaign that calls for the elimination of all forms of gender-based violence against women.

We celebrated 16 Days in 2020 by hosting a programme of community, wellness, and educational events.

Sexual violence continues to be an affront to women's rights globally, disproportionately impacting women and other marginalised genders. At the same time, we also know that anyone can be a perpertrator of sexual violence and anyone can be targeted. Our events were for all survivors of sexual violence and everyone who wants to better support survivors.

All of our 16 Days events were free, online, and open to all members of the Goldsmiths Community.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us at bystander@goldsmithssu.org.

We are collecting feedback for our 16 Days Against Sexual Violence events! Please tell us what you thought so we can continue to deliver tailored events for you!

Calling all allies! The Ally Club is a friendly, open and empowering club for our politically engaged student members who are interested in social justice but who may not ordinarily enter liberation and campaigns spaces. Ally Club members will recieve communications about our campaigns and opportunities to get involved on the picket line, in the rallying cries and through open letters, physical and digital activism and more. It's free and open to all.
