Your Union – Welcome

Goldsmiths Students’ Union is here to defend and enhance your rights as a student, although we provide many services, the core function of the Union is representation, it is at the heart of all we do. No matter what we do, it’s always with you in the forefront of our minds.

Please use the tabs on the left hand side of the page to navigate through this section. You can find all of our contact details and find out who is who in the everyday running of the union.

The core purpose of having students’ unions is (as mentioned above) to fight for and defend student rights and who better to lead the organisation than students themselves. You will be introduced to the full time and part time student officers that were democratically elected earlier this year. They’ll be working hard on a variety of campaigns and issues but essentially they take lead from you so if you need to discuss any issues related to the University or the Students’ Union then these are the people to speak to to help you bring about change.

You will also meet staff members who assist in the day to day running of the union, implementing new ideas and providing vital services to students. From running the bar, to giving you academic advice they are always available to help.

Most staff work from 9-5 Monday to Friday, so please feel free to drop by the SU Reception and we will do our best to help in any way we can.
