If elected as your LGBTQ Officers we want to do two things for Goldsmiths' students; we want to MAKE CHANGE and LOOK CUTE.

'Making Change' is our promise to be active and political throughout the year. We want to make a noticeable difference to way LGBTQ students experience Goldsmiths. Our goals include campaigning to improve diversity in reading lists and courses, and to secure gender sensitivity training for members of staff. We'd also like to connect LGBTQ students across campus and will hold regular drop in sessions so students feel supported.

'Looking Cute' is a promise which might initially seem trivial, but in actuality our goal is to highlight positive and lighthearted things about being LGBTQ. We think it's essential for LGBTQ people (as well as any other marginalised group) to take time to recognise our strengths. 'Looking Cute' is a stand in for our promise to celebrate the beauty, creativity and love within our community, whether that be with talks, zines, socials, performances or something new

We want to support, protect, and celebrate our LGBTQ students, and by working with other liberation officers, Goldsmiths LGBTQ Society, and other societies across London we believe we can.
