Both of us have so many ideas for Wired Radio this coming year. Every year Wired Radio gets stronger and stronger and we want to continue the trend!

If we were voted Wired Radio Managers we would aim to...

Increase listeners by broadcasting across campus in a variety of locations such as the Student Shop, Loafers and The Su, as we feel that this would help to promote greater awareness of Wired.

We would both love to see more Goldsmiths musicians get their music heard through Wired and therefore we would update the sustaining service. We both want Wired Radio to be used as a platform for all of our amazing bands and musicians and want to publicise and support them in anyway possible.

We want to get more students involved in Wired Radio and would like to get students involved in the branding of Wired Radio. We would love to get more people on board with designing artwork and visuals for Wired events and merchandise.

We would like to be a more approachable platform and society and therefore would like to have more slots available for other societies, students and student media to use such. Fromt this we would like to have more of a range of shows where people can promote their own events, spoken word, poetry or radio dramas. We both feel that this would be great for students who want to get involved in Wired radio but can't commit.

We would also like to have greater connections with other Goldsmiths student media and societies, and would like to promote more student events to create a more connected student body. Alongside the Wired Radio event at Bunker, we would like to host a greater variety of events, such as live shows for bands and artists, possibly teaming up with Simon Says and other SU nights.

We also want to promote better relationships between shows and presenters and have a more socials and networking events as well as more talks and lectures about radio and broadcasting. We would like more of an online presence and have more blog posts and social media. We also want to engage more students in Wired and get more first years involved in the running of Wired so that Wired can remain a strong presence.

Both of us have been involved in Wired Radio in a variety of ways. We've both had shows and have been involved in a variety of events and the management team of Wired and from this understand the  in's and out's of Wired, which is why we think we're a great team for next year. We both love Wired Radio and have so many ideas to make Wired the best it has ever been!

We are both fully committed to the role and improving Wired Radio. We both believe Wired is  a great platform for the student voice and think it's an important part of Goldsmiths. We want Wired to represent the diverse student body in terms of both music and events. We want Wired Radio to be an approachable and valued part of the fabric of Goldsmiths.

All in all, we both want Wired Radio to be a platform that show's off how incredible, ambitious and creative our student body is.

We are a university made up of brilliant and talented minds and we both want the world to know! Vote for Hattie and Harrison and we promise that we will do everything we can to promote and support our students.
