

Elections 2012, The key elections for the 2011/12 academic year are by far the biggest set of elections that the Union organises. These Elections will allow you, the students, to choose the coming years Sabbatical Officers, Assembly Officers and Student Trustees. This will be done via an online vote, within which every Goldsmiths Student can participate.

Nominations Close: 4pm 26th Jan 2012
Candidates Briefing: 6pm 26th Jan 2012
Publicity Submission: 12pm 30th Jan 2012
Hustings: 6:30pm 2nd Feb 2012
Publicity Collection: 3pm 3rd Feb 2012
Polling Starts: 12pm 6th Feb 2012
Polling Closes: 2pm 10th Feb 2012
Results: 5pm 10th Feb 2012

Nominations
Nominating yourself is simple and straight forward with our new online nomination forms. There are two ways you can stand in an election, either as an individual or on a job share basis.
If you’re interested in standing as an individual candidate click the single nomination link below. If you’re interested in standing in the elections on a job share basis (where you and a friend can stand together for a single position) click the job-share nomination link.
If you wish to run for the position of sabbatical officers, student trustee or assembly chair you have to stand as an individual and thus would need to click on the single nomination link below.

The election guidelines, provide you with the rules that govern the elections, it is absolutely necessary for you to read all the information in the guidelines as the nomination form will ask you to confirm that you have read and understand the guidelines.
