Societies
Societies are student led and organised groups which frequently meet and put on events where like minded individuals can get together and discuss or participate in their interests. We have a huge selection of societies which is constantly growing and changing as students with different interests start up new societies to suit their needs. Joining a society is a great way to meet like-minded people, to learn and try new things and share enthusiasm with other students.
The societies here often run events and trips, some locally, others further afield. The Drama Society for example often go to the Edinburgh Fringe festival. Be sure to come to the Freshers Fayre on 26th & 27th of September to get more information and meet many of society presidents and members.
