Our team photo will be tomorrow Friday 16th March at 12.30pm in RHB 300, please arrive on time and in kit! The boys team are in the slot at 12.15 so we might be able to borrow some shirts if we don’t have enough (I don’t have one) and we will be able to get the pics that day!
Also the AU ball is on Wednesday the 21st March 7-11pm at Selhurst Park, it is black tie and the tickets are available from the SU shop for £28, there are only 20 left so please, please, please buy them this week as I have put many of you up for colours. I will also be handing over my captaincy that night, so it would be really great if everyone can come.

I have just checked the train times for tomorrow and we are cutting it a bit fine so…
MEET AT NEW CROSS GATE: 11:55 (we HAVE to be on the 12:07 train to London Bridge so make sure you have topped up your oyster card or bought a zone 1-4 ticket BEFORE). I’m asking to leave my seminar early to get there.
LONDON BRIDGE TO WATERLOO EAST: 12:19 TRAIN
WATERLOO TO CHISWICK: 12:37 (there is a train at 12:52 if you are late, but it’s a bit of a walk from the station)
If you are going to be late, please let me know. We will be leaving on the 12:07 train.

I have a seminar till 12 but I will be at New Cross Gate Station at 12.15, we HAVE to be on the 12.22 train to London Bridge so make sure you are there in kit (to save time) and have enough money on your Oyster. The pitch is close to Chiswick station and it takes about 1h to get there (postcode W4 3UH). Push back is at 2pm.
Remember you can’t play or receive your colours at the AU dinner if you haven’t paid SUBS.
I’m sooooo excited, it’s going to be a really fun day! :)

Ally Badham Hi everyone,
We have got quite a few things coming up in the next weeks (as well as lots of essays/dissertations).
Firstly. This Sunday 4th March is the Goldsmiths Vs Oldsmiths alumni mixed match. It should be a really great game as the Oldsmiths team is pretty strong, also there is a bar at the pitch so even if we do lose we can show them what our livers are made of :P
Meet at New Cross Station at 11.00 to get to Honour Oak Park.
For those of you that played the ‘friendly’ King’s match that’s the pitch. Push back is at 11.30AM, it is really easy to get to the pitch, just get on the 171 from New Cross and get off at the Brockley Jack pub (either Brockley rise bus stop or the Brockley post office).
Secondly. A reminder about Varsity 2012, it is next Wednesday 7th March at, I think, the Quintin Hogg Sports Grounds in Chiswick. The Arts team have already started boasting about how they are confident in winning: Women’s Hockey first team Captain Caitlin Black said: “The girls are all really looking forward to Varsity, last year was a great success so I’ve got every hope for this year!”
We HAVE to get a full team together!! I know everyone is really busy at this time of year but this is not only our LAST match of the season but it is also the most important. So far I have had yes’s back from Charlotte, Evie and Rosh. Please can I have the replies back ASAP.
WE WILL BE MEETING AT NEW CROSS GATE AT 12.15 as we need to get 3 trains to get there, yay!
Thirdly. The AU dinner/ball is coming up!!!! It will be held at Selhurst Park on Weds 21st March from 7pm. There will be a full 3 course meal and as usual, it will be a black tie/ cocktail address event. Manoj, Grace and Charlie McGinnes have worked hard to get you a decent venue, with excellent transport links for a great price, including a full sit down meal. The SU will cover some of the ticket costs for each person and so the tickets this year will be £28 per person. They will hopefully be on sale from Monday 5th March.
It will be a really fun night with lots of awards and univerty colors being handed out (for which I have put forward lots of you). Also AU is the night I will be handing over my captaincy to the next generation, so it would be really great if the whole team could be there to welcome them in (possibly with copious amounts of alcohol).
Sorry for the really long email. The next weeks should be lots of fun!!

Ally Badham Hi everyone,
I hope you have all had a really great Christmas.
Just to let you know, training is still on as usual 8-9pm Fridays at Kennington Park starting from this Friday 13th (I hope no one is suspicious lol).
Also there is a refreshers fayre next Tuesday the 17th. 12-4 pm. I have uni till 1 so I won’t be able to set up, so if there is anyone who is free and wants to do some publicity can you please email Ruth (ruth.gibson@goldsmithssu.org).

Training takes place weekly on Fridays at 8-9pm.

Ally Badham Hi guys,
I just wanted to let everone know that in order to play for ULU (our league) we all have to sign up with sportlise ASAP!!! We can only play with members who are registered on this and I have to submit a team sheet an hour before each match as the referees will be doing random spot checks apparently. Yay!!
