
Welcome to the Goldsmiths Palestine Campaign!
We are one of the longest running campaigns at Goldsmiths; we first voted to twin with Al Quds Open University in Palestine in 2006. This was in recognition of the terrible suffering Palestinains suffer under the illegal Israeli occupation and the denial of Palestinians to basic human rights. Since twinning with Al Quds we have hosted a delegation from that university and initiated yearly trips to the West Bank to visit the university as well as see the occupation first hand.
Making a difference in the world is one of the most rewarding opportunities at Goldsmiths. Our campaign has won annual scholarships for Palestinian students, helped release a Palestinian political prisoner, and organised huge events from film showings to guest lectures. Activists range from first year undergrads to PHD students, everyone can get involved, so here’s how:
