Bar and Ents – The Stretch

As students at Goldsmiths The Stretch is YOUR student bar. 

The Stretch is a great place for a quick drink, a long drink, to sit and work, to socialise and to have some memorable times. Not the easiest to find, tucked away on the top floor of the Tiananmen Building (we like to think of it as a hidden gem) but once you have found it you will keep coming back.

We have comfy sofas, beanbags, a smoking balcony with a view over London, a pool table, a fußball table, Xbox with Kinect, Wii, games machines and an interactive jukebox with plasma screens so there will always be something to distract you from the boring parts of university life.  We also cater for the studious amongst you though, with free college WiFi available.

We pride ourselves on being an enjoyable, safe and inclusive place to be, and have the policies and attitude to ensure this will always be the case.  Infact this year we won Gold at the national Best Bar None awards which recognises safe and responsible working practices.
